Celebrity Wearing Sunglasses Ray-Ban Original Wayfarer 2140

The Ray-Ban Wayfarer is a design of sunglasses manufactured by Ray-Ban since 1952. Wayfarers enjoyed early popularity in the 1950s and 1960s, especially after they were worn by Audrey Hepburn in the 1961 movie Breakfast at Tiffany's. Though the sunglasses had faded from the limelight by the 1970s, a lucrative 1982 product placement deal brought Wayfarers to their height of popularity. Since the mid-2000s, the sunglasses have been enjoying a revival. Wayfarers are sometimes cited as the best-selling design of sunglasses in history. The original Wayfarer is back, with the same specifications as the original 1952 mode, in the Ray-Ban Wayfarer 2140l. Featuring the oversize metal hinges and mineral glass lenses, the Wayfarer has returned!
In recent years Ray-Ban introduced a new take on the original Wayfarer as they feature a two-tone style. Among the various color combos are Sand/Blue, Black/Lime, Black/Orange, Black/Yellow, Purple/Red, and even some printed styles!

What sunglasses does Emma Stone wear in the movie Easy A? Those would be the extremely awesome RAY-BAN WAYFARERS. These are the RB2140s (classic wayfarers slanting forward) in black.

  1. It seems celebrities wear these sunglasses more often when off-camera. Maybe that’s how they keep discreet when in public. Ashlee Simpson looks cute in that pair of glasses.
